Amulet Prayer Box Necklace
The silver metal prayer box amulet is hand-made in Nepal and embossed with the OM MANI PADME HUM Buddhist mantra.
Inside the Buddhist amulet is a roll of paper printed with a choice of Buddhist deity mantras, please choose from: Chenrezig, Manjushri, Maitreya Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha or Green Tara. Please see below for an image of the mantra roll and description of each mantra.
Alternatively you can put your own precious objects, prayers or mantras inside the prayer box pendant.
The Chenrezig mantra, also known as the Om mani padme hum mantra, is recited to purify delusion, especially hatred & ignorance, and to generate compassion. The Chenrezig mantra translates as “You are the Jewel in the Lotus” and summons the deity Chenrezig the Buddha of Compassion.
