Benefits of the Bodhi Seed Mala
It was under a Bodhi tree, at Bodhgaya in India, that the Buddha attained enlightenment. For this reason the Bodhi Seed is highly valued and is said to enrich the mind.

* The name "Bodhi seed" is a misnomer - the seeds come from a tree related to the Rudraksha (Elaeocarpus ganitrus) and not the Bodhi tree (the Bodhi tree is a type of fig tree - Ficus Religiosa - and its seeds are tiny).
